I arrived in Seattle on the 21st to a very cold, very wet welcoming. Rained off and on all through the day. Probably wouldn't have been so bad except I don't have a jacket, or a coat, being from Tucson those are rarely needed. So for this past week it has rained every day, in every city I've been to - Seattle, Lynnwood, Lake Stevens, Darrington, Leavenworth, Cashmere, Yakima, Prosser, Kennewick and Ocean Shores. Whew!
That's a lot of driving for one week. And all of it wet driving. I'm beat. So today I'm just relaxing. Tomorrow I fly out for Barranquilla via Houston and Cartegena. It's been a great, and sad, visit with my brothers and relatives. I'm really glad I did this trip, no matter what the extra cost. Barranquilla on Friday morning! Yay!
I used to teach English as a foreign language in Barranquilla, Colombia. Now I'm retired and traveling throughout South America.
I'm from Kennewick, Washington, USA. In my previous life, as I call it, I was an IT guy, systems administrator, computer tech, as well as a shipping/receiving guy and also worked as a merchandising guy in a RV/Camping store.
