TEFL = Teaching English as a Foreign Language

I recently received my TEFL certification. And I am going to expand on it a bit with a more advanced grammar certificate. What will I do with this new certification when I am finished? That is something I will write more about in the coming months.

What's new in my life here in Tucson? Nothing much. I go to work and come home from work 5 days a week.

And somewhere in each week I get two days off. Those two days vary from week to week. So that helps to break up the monotony a bit. This winter has been colder than normal even by Tucson's standards, so I haven't done as much running as I would like to. But the weather is warming up finally, so it's back out on the road again - running 3 or 4 times a week, 5 miles each time, and biking to work. I'm getting out on my off days to do some hiking again. I haven't been hiking in a couple years. Last weekend I hiked the King Canyon trail again, well, part of it, then I went off-trail. That was fun. And hard. I did get a few, quite a few, scratches on my legs from the plants with stickers on them, which is just about all the plants that grow here. This weekend I'm heading up into the Rincon Mountains. The creeks should be flowing quite nicely since there is a decent snow pack up there. And the waterfalls should be falling with quite a splash, I hope. Last time I was up there there was nothing more than an occasional drip coming down the falls. That was a couple years ago and there was no snow up there then.
