Hope - A new poem

May 8, 2020

I just through together this poem, I hope you like it.

Hope

by Chip Wiegand

Now our lives, in a bubble
And it's time to redouble
This is what we've been brought to
Now many people feeling blue

Now we're hiding behind masks
And what has happened? she asks
It's not like we had chosen
Now to live our lives all closed in

Now we can not see the cause
And its gripped us in its claws
Microscopic and vicious
Now menacing and malicious

Now what we see is a preview
What will life look like for you?
A new way is just beginning
Now we must keep on winning

Now's the time to fight the fight
And beat this thing into the night
We will come through all this anew
Now we'll make it together, me and you
