When I visited Majes/El Pedregal just about everywhere was under construction. Many new roads and parks throughout the city. Google Maps is terribly bad, it has very few road names and some it has are wrong, the street views are many years old (as is the case for all of South America in Google Maps). I think when this town has all the construction projects wrapped up it should be quite a nice place.
